Co-op - Quality Engineer (Hybrid) (Intern)

Job Description

This is a paid co-op position, offering a full-time (40 hours/week) work schedule for 2-3 semesters.  Onsite work is required in Burnsville, MN, however, some occasional remote work will also be permitted only after an on-boarding period.  Relocation support will not be available.

Position available for Spring Semester 2024

The co-op in this position will:

• Disassemble, troubleshoot product failures from customers
• Create reports on main failure modes in field
• Make recommendations to R&D for product improvement
• Participate in MTBF & product design robustness studies
• Work closely with product design engineering on new product designs by implementing lessons learned from field data

Qualifications

Required: Currently enrolled in a university program studying Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics.  A copy of your transcript is requested with your application.

• Willingness to learn
• Strongly preferred- General electrical knowledge and ability (soldering, wiring, testing)
