California Baptist University in Riverside wanted to update the School of Nursing facility and had a quick turnaround time. The project was created to help the campus qualify for a doctorate of nursing program. The project included a simulation studio on a budget. The client also wanted to keep the cabling and hardware as concealed as possible.
Chief flat panel mounts, in wall boxes, digital signage player mounts, projector mounting hardware and three large Da-Lite custom screens were installed by CCS Presentation Systems of California.
Thinstall and in wall display mounts were used to keep a low profile while also allowing for easy adjustments. The hardware was concealed behind the flat panels in Chief in-wall boxes.
For the simulation studio, they designed the solution around three very large custom Da-Lite Studio Electrol screens. Using Chief mounts and structural hardware, they had seven projectors shooting onto the three screens to cover most of the space.
The technical director, after a walk through of the space, said “This is the face of a very happy client.” The rooms are being used daily with great response. They are already working on new projects on campus for other venues.
And the Doctorate of Nursing program was approved.
