HDMI up/down converter and scaler is designed to allow user to match native resolution of different display when multiple are used. It is mainly designed to be used with standard displays, HDMI matrix switches, HDMI distribution amplifiers and many other applications where HDMI is used. When there is set up with multiple displays that have mismatched resolutions capability, it can be used to down convert or scale displays with higher resolution to match displays that are incapable of outputting higher resolutions.
