Cutting-edge line of pliable LED video wall displays captivates attendees and wins Best New dvLED from rAVe

July 23, 2024 - Planar is proud to announce a Best of InfoComm 2024 Award from rAVe. The popular Planar® CarbonLight™ CLI Flex Series was named this year’s Best New dvLED winner and ranked among the best of everything the publication saw at the show.

rAVe’s 2024 Best of InfoComm Awards celebrate innovative products and the potential they have for the AV industry and beyond.

Planar CarbonLight CLI Flex Series pliable LED video wall displays combine to create convex or concave curved video walls, offering a more visually appealing alternative to faceting flat LED cabinets into segmented curves. Ideal for halos, column wraps, waves or smoothly curved walls, Planar CarbonLight CLI Flex Series LED displays can form curves as tight as 25 inches or 637 millimeters. At InfoComm 2024, attendees experienced an interactive, curved Planar CarbonLight CLI Flex Series LED video wall in a 0.9 millimeter pixel pitch, demonstrating an innovative touch experience for unique, eye-catching installations.

The new 0.9 millimeter model joins existing Planar CarbonLight CLI Flex Series LED video wall displays in 1.3, 1.5, 1.9, 2.6 and 3.9 millimeter pixel pitches. The series supports hanging, wall mounted or free-standing video wall installations and offers Glue-On-Board (GOB) protective coating for added durability in high-traffic and interactive environments.

This year, rAVe recorded more than 1,700 videos. Best of InfoComm Award winners were recognized across 13 categories, including Display, and chosen for making an impression on the publication during the show. Planar was also named a rAVe Best of InfoComm Award winner in 2023 for the Planar® UltraRes™ W Series as well as the company’s extended reality stage demonstration. The industry-leading technologies were selected as one of the best for UCC and extended reality in ProAV.
