MAHWAH, NJ.

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), has received the 2015 Business Technology Association (BTA) top overall Channel's Choice award for overall satisfaction of a manufacturer based on: Corporate Support, Distribution, Product Line and Inventory performance. The award recognizes Superior Performance as a Primary Line Provider and was presented at a ceremony during a BTA Event held in Minneapolis, on May 7.

The awards were based on the results of BTA's "Channel's Choice" survey of dealers, ranking the level of satisfaction with their equipment manufacturer/suppliers in various performance categories.

"BTA's annual Channel's Choice awards program, which began in 1989, provides dealers with a means of recognizing and honoring those vendors that are the most supportive of the dealer channel," said 2014-15 BTA President Ron Hulett. "Through the years, we have honored a number of deserving vendors for their outstanding product lines, exceptional levels of performance and dealer support. As one of our 2015 Channel's Choice winners, we congratulate Sharp and express our sincere thanks for its exceptional support of the BTA Channel."

In addition to the top overall award, Sharp received three additional awards that were presented by BTA President Ron Hulett as follows:

(1) Distribution Performance, measuring availability of marketing support funds and programs, parity between vendor direct and dealer channel, as well as overall distribution policy.

(2) Product Line Performance, measuring features, availability, and reliability of current product line offerings, support for Managed Print Services and overall ease of installation.

(3) Corporate Support Performance, measuring responsiveness of corporate administrative support and knowledge, professionalism and availability and effectiveness of training.

"Sharp is very proud to be recognized by BTA and the dealer community as the top performing primary line provider," said Doug Albregts, president, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. "With the support of our outstanding dealer network, Sharp has been the industry's fastest growing vendor over the past two years. This award affirms our dealers' satisfaction with our direction, but also re-invigorates us to continue our never ending quest to be an "irresistible partner"."
