Expert in Asia-Pacific Strategies to Advise Leading Provider of High Performance, Secure KVM and Video Switching Solutions Used in Command and Control Facilities

MILFORD, Conn. -- April 6, 2016 -- Thinklogical, a global manufacturer of secure, high performance KVM and video switching solutions, announced today that retired U.S. Army Gen. Walter L. “Skip” Sharp, former commander of the ROK/U.S. Combined Forces, the U.S. forces, and the U.N. forces in Korea, has joined the Thinklogical Defense and Intelligence Advisory Board.

The purpose of the Thinklogical Defense and Intelligence Advisory Board is to foster solution innovation while deepening the company’s global relationship with government, military, intelligence and homeland security customers.

“The best way to ensure mission readiness is to equip the warfighter and their support infrastructure with the right tools and information needed for the job,” said Sharp. “The ability to quickly analyze and distribute video and data for faster decision making plays an increasingly important role in maintaining our national security profile. I’m looking forward to working with the defense and intelligence communities of the U.S. and our allies and partners to increase their understanding of the value of Thinklogical’s solution."

Thinklogical’s patented and IA-accredited KVM and video switching solutions are used in secure environments in defense and intelligence, including command and control, C4ISR, training, simulation, visualization, and other applications. Thinklogical enables multi-domain isolation through a single system, increasing cyber security and simplifying the control of key computing resources and their associated networks, lowering total cost of ownership while empowering rich collaboration capabilities across authorized functional groups. Thinklogical offers the only mid- to large-scale fiber-optic matrix switches to achieve Common Criteria EAL4, NATO NIAPC Evaluation Scheme: GREEN, TEMPEST SDIP 27 Level B accreditation, and are certified as a VDS in the U.S. DoD DISA JITC UC APL.

“Skip’s in-depth understanding of Joint and Combined Commands, the Army, our allies, and the dynamic security situation in Asia will be invaluable to Thinklogical as we address the growing global requirements for secure, high-performance command and control solutions in defense and intelligence organizations.  We are honored to have him join us in an advisory role,” said Joe Pajer, president and CEO of Thinklogical.

With this appointment, Sharp becomes the sixth member of the Thinklogical Defense and Intelligence Advisory Board, joining former Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet Adm. Archie R. Clemins,  Peter Marino, Chairman of the United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Advisory Group, Arthur L. Money, Chairman of the United States National Security Agency (NSA) Technology Advisory Board, , former USAF Chief of Staff Gen. Norton A. Schwartz (ret.) and former NATO Supreme Commander Adm. James Stavridis, USN (ret.).
