Thinklogical Signs Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA)
Posted on Monday, July 11, 2016

MILFORD, Conn. – July 11, 2016 -- Thinklogical, a global manufacturer of secure, high performance KVM signal extension and switching systems for video-rich applications, announced today that it has signed a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA #14106) with the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA).

NCI Agency BOAs are acquisition instruments negotiated between suppliers of products and services and the NCI Agency on behalf of NATO. The aim of the BOA procurement procedure is to provide NATO host nations with an accelerated and cost-effective acquisition method for COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) products and services.

“Immediate access to actionable, video-rich data that delivers instant situational awareness is a mission-critical requirement for defense and intelligence organizations in today’s dynamic geo-political environment,” said Joe Pajer, president and CEO of Thinklogical. “As NATO and its member countries seek to upgrade their secure command and control capabilities, they can now more easily procure Thinklogical’s accredited, high-performance signal management solutions through this BOA.”

Thinklogical offers the only full range of fiber-optic KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) and VDS (video distribution system) extension and switching solutions accredited to Common Criteria EAL4, NATO NIAPC Evaluation Scheme: GREEN, TEMPEST SDIP 24 Level B and the U.S. DoD DISA JITC UCR 2013 APL information assurance (IA) standards required for use in secure government, defense and intelligence facilities.

Thinklogical is unique in enabling multi-domain isolation, restricted switching and partitioning of video and data through a single high-performance system, simplifying management of multiple classifications of information, reducing command and control AV and IT infrastructure requirements, improving data security, and lowering total overall cost of ownership.
