Program Honors Companies that Promote Employee Well-Being, Worksite Health and Wellness

Brea, CA (Aug. 23, 2021) – ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solutions, was one of the recipients of the 2021 Best and Brightest in Wellness winners by the National Association for Business Resources [NABR]. This program by NABR honors companies that promote employee well-being, worksite health and wellness. The companies were evaluated by an assessment created and administered by SynBella, the nation’s leading wellness systems firm.

ViewSonic encourages employee health and fitness with multiple initiatives. The company offers a robust health, dental and vision plan that includes additional services such as mental health, chiropractic care and acupuncture. ViewSonic also provides flexible schedules that allow employees to work out before, after or during the day. All employees have been provided Fitbits and access to the wellness platform/app SonicBoom. ViewSonic uses the app to communicate wellness tips, daily challenges, and host competitions.

ViewSonic employees are very proactive and competitive. They have organized weekend walks, hikes, or bike rides where all are welcome to join. ViewSonic has built a culture of innovation and solution-oriented products, which, in turn is reflected on the outlook and mindset of the employees. The employees have developed an environment for friendly competition, and fitness is no exception. A fitness team regularly hosts competitions with prizes for top winners. Participation averages about 60–70 percent of employees. The teams use the SonicBoom app to develop, communicate and track contests. Employees log in to see not only their progress but the leaderboard of other challengers and their ranking. The fitness team also communicates challenges via email, workplace chat and during town hall and manager meetings.
