The 2026 DSF Pixel Awards have named McCann Systems a finalist for the “Engagement Engine – Best Audience Engagement & Measurable Impact” category for 113 Spring, an experiential retail and wellness destination in SoHo, New York. The category honors digital signage work that drives meaningful audience engagement and measurable results.

McCann served as the audiovisual integrator for 113 Spring, a 3,000-square-foot space designed by Snøhetta inside a landmark cast-iron building. Working alongside UnCoded and Field.io, McCann delivered an immersive digital experience powered by SpringOS, an intelligent operating system that continuously adapts the environment based on guest behavior and environmental conditions. Rather than relying on traditional digital displays, the project uses LiDAR sensors, responsive digital mirrors, projection mapping, adaptive lighting, spatial analytics, and Pixera media servers to respond in real time to how visitors move, experience, and interact within the space – with every AV element concealed within the architecture to preserve the building’s historic character.

“The intent is for guests to experience the environment, not the technology itself,” said Brandon Harp, Director of Digital Experiences at McCann Systems.

At the center of the space is “The Veil,” a projection-mapped canvas that shifts with 113 Spring’s exhibitions, retail activations, and programming, letting content evolve without physical changes to the space. Since opening in September 2025, the installation has continued to grow through software updates rather than renovations. McCann sees this type of model translating further into retail, hospitality, wellness, and museum spaces alike.
